In our continuous efforts to give that something extra to our students, we are continuously thinking of making better use of our website while at the same time intensify our drive to increase membership. We are now ready to introduce
Assist+ - on line HELP serviceThis is a free of charge service to all our students WHO ARE AUTOMATICALLY members of the SOCIETA’ DANTE ALIGHIERI for a full year once they are registered for one of our courses.
Membership is an important aspect in the life of the Association. One of its principal aims is to offer a forum and a place where to meet, discuss, and improve knowledge in the Italian language, culture and current affairs. We are currently studying new opportunities to improve the role of such membership and Assist + is a commitment in this direction.
The service is also open to all students studying Italian in State, Independent and Church Schools, and to the public in general. One only needs to become a member (Lm5.00 yearly) and make use of this service and other opportunities locally and abroad offered by the membership card. This initiative increases interactivity with our students while offering, at the same time, precious help to whoever needs it.
Assist + could be implemented through the full collaboration and help offered by our qualified tutors who have now become synonymous with the Società Dante Alighieri. New academic staff is engaged through a very selective process to gaurantee the right body of tutors to our members and students.
How it works
All questions related to the ASSIST + scheme must be sent through an email addressed toAt the top of your email message write:
name & surname,
class,
teacher’s name and
membership number (where applicable).
This will help us to send you back the answer.
Once we receive your enquiry it will be answered by your current tutor or else passed on to other academic staff having the necessary expertise and specialisation.It will take at least 2 working days for the enquiry so never make questions that need an answer an HOUR AGO.
Please also bear with us since the system itself needs a ‘running in’ period until it settles down and starts working smoothly. However please feel free to make use of it and send us your suggestions.
The ASSIST+ on line is also available for assistance related to general issues concerning Italy, like travel, culture, commercial activities, translations and whatever enquiry one may have.
Therefore we suggest that you become a member at your earliest to sustain the efforts of the Società Dante Alighieri, which is a not for profit organisation, and avail yourself of the first hand expertise gained over decades of relations with Italy by our offices.
