The objective of this course is to introduce participants to the basic grammatical
structure of the language that has been a trait d’union in the intellectual sphere
throughout Europe for many centuries. Although it is considered as an extinct
language, it is however the language in which the humanistic tradition of
knowledge is imprinted and archived in most libraries in the old continent. It is
also, together with Greek, the language of reference for the etymology of most
modern words, especially in the the scientific and medical fields, and not
exclusively.

This introductory course is ideal for those who always wished to enrich
themselves and engage themselves in the understanding of so many inscriptions
which both in Malta and abroad are found on monuments and buildings from
the past.

The course fee is 75 euros for 6 lessons x 120min. each on
